The Department of Labor and Employment heded by Secretary Silvestre Bello III ordered firecracker makers and those who are selling it not just in Bulacan area but nationwide to STOP MAKING AND SELLING FIRECRACKERS after two reported explosions in factories. Manufacturers and retailers was shocked with the news but the public express relief and approval of the memorandum.

Firecrackers and fireworks are part of the revelry, in the streets by both young and old. But the party is sometimes, bloody, and excruciatingly painful to some. A total of 380 was wounded last December 2015 to January 1, 2016 because of firecrackers.
