Paano maqualify sa SSS Pension Loan Program?

1. Walumpu't limang (85) taong gulang o pababa sa katapusan ng termina ng pautang.

2. Walang ibinabawas sa buwanang pensiyon, tulad ng natitirang balanse sa ibang pautang ng SSS, sobrang benepisyong binayaran ng SSS at iba pa.
3. Walang paunang pensiyong natatanggap sa ilalim ng SSS Calamity Package
4. Tumatanggap na ng regular na pensiyon na hindi bababa sa isang (1) buwan at ang status ng pensiyon ay "Active" 
Tandaan na kung ang retirement pensioner ay kumuha ng paunang 18 buwang pensiyon, siya ay dapat nakakatanggap na ng kanyang regular pension na hindi bababa sa isang buwan

Tandaan rin na ang retirement pensioner na nasa ilalim ng Portability Law o nasa pangangalaga at kustodia ng isang guardian ay hindi maaring mag-apply sa PLP



Narito ang proseso ng pag-apply ng Pensioners Loan Program


1. Pumunta sa pinakamalapit na SSS Branch upang personal na mag-apply ng inyong Pension Loan
2. Ipakita ang orihinal at magsubmit ng photocopy ng alinmang ID lalo na government IDs' na SSS ID, UMID ID Card, Pasaoprte o Voter's ID. Para sa iba pang ID, tingnan sa ibaba.
3. Hintayin ang resulta ng beripikasyon upang malaman kung ang pensyonado ay kwalipikado sa Pensioners Pension Plan.
4. Pumili ng loan amount o loan term na inaaplayan.


5. I-check ang inyong loan borrower information at detalye ng  loan.
6. Tanggapin ang cash card or quick card ng napiling bangko at i-enroll ang UMID card as ATM sa alinmang sangay ng Union Bank of the Philippines kiosk na pinakamalapit sa inyong lugar.
7. Lagdaan ang mga sumusunod; Pension Loan Application at Disclosure Statement, Photocopies of the ID submitted
8. Punuan at pirmahan ang supplemental Information Sheet at Terms and Conditions ng napiling bangko.

9. Hintayin sa loob ng limang (5) working days ang loan proceeds na ipapasok sa cashcard o UMID card.

Hanggang kailan babayaran? 24 months or years to pay.
Paano binabase ang mauutang? Depende po sa laki ng binabayad o sa laki ng pension.

P20,000 SSS CALAMITY LOAN ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CLAP)

SSS will be offering a maximum of P20,000 Calamity Loan Assistance Program o CLAP to all members and it will be available on the 14th of April, 2020 via the SSS portal My.SSS.  

SSS vice president for public affairs and special events Mr. Fernan F. Nicolas told webinar participants last week, April 15, that the SSS will be launching a calamity loan program nationwide they called CLAP for those affected by the quarantine because of the COVID-19 on April 24. The allocated budget for the program is P20 Billion and can accommodate around 1.7Million members



HOW TO APPLY FOR SSS CALAMITY LOAN or CLAP?

The application for the loan program would be through the online SSS portal or the MY.SSS.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS for CALAMITY LOAN?

Members of the SSS can avail of the calamity loan if :

At least 36 months of contributions; with six (6) posted within the past 12 months on or before the month of the application.
The home address of the member should be at a declared State of Calamity Area
Must not be a delinquent borrower
Must have not availed any SSS benefit or claim such as:
Permanent disability
Death
Retirement Program
Documents needed

Duly accomplished Calamity Loan Assistance Application Form (accessible in the sss.gov website)
Barangay Certification
At least one (1) primary ID:
Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID)

  2. A two-month salary loan is equivalent to twice the average of the member borrower's latest posted 12 MSCs, rounded to the next higher monthly salary credit, or amount applied for, whichever is lower.
  3. The net amount of the loan shall be the difference between the approved loan amount and all outstanding balance of short-term member loans.

SAGOT: Sa ilalim po ng guidelines ng regular salary loan, ang renewal ay papayagan pagkatapos mabayaran ang at least 50% ng original principal amount, nakatapos ng at least 50% ng term (one year) ng loan at aktibong nagbabayad ng kontribusyon bilang empleyado, self-employed o voluntary member, kung saan mayroong at least anim (6) na kontribusyon sa loob ng labing-dalawang buwan bago ang pagsusumite ng aplikasyon.

Philippine Social Security System : Ang crediting po ng approved salary loan sa UnionBank Quickcard ay 7 to 10 working days upon settlement nito. Maaaring subukan from time to time na i-check ang status nito sa inyong account.

Philippine Social Security System  Para sa salary loan,ang isang miyembro ay kailangan na aktibong nagbabayad ng kontribusyon bilang empleyado, self-employed o voluntary member at nakapaghulog ng hindi kukulangin sa 36/72 buwang hulog, kung saan mayroong at least anim (6) na kontribusyon sa loob ng labing-dalawang buwan bago ang pagsusumite ng aplikasyon.




HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ONLINE SALARY LOAN APPLICATION:
(For separated self-employed, OFW and Voluntary members)

1️⃣ Go to the SSS website (www.sss.gov.ph)

2️⃣ Log-in as a Member (input User ID and Password) and click SUBMIT.

3️⃣ Click the E-SERVICES tab.

4️⃣ Click APPLY FOR SALARY LOAN. If eligible for a salary loan, your loanable amount and local mailing address will be displayed. You may opt to select a lower loan amount.

5️⃣ The loan proceeds will be deposited in the Member’s UMID-ATM Savings Account/Unionbank of the Philippines (UBP) Quick Card or register your other UBP Savings Account Number.

6️⃣ Otherwise, check will be sent via registered mail to the Member’s local mailing address. If the local mailing address is not updated, go to My.SSS Beta Portal or download the SSS Mobile App to update your local mailing address.

Note: Currently, only UBP accounts are accredited for electronic loan disbursement.

7️⃣ Read the terms and conditions carefully and click the box for “I agree to the Terms of Service.” Then click PROCEED.

8️⃣ VIEW, DOWNLOAD OR PRINT the Loan Disclosure Statement.

9️⃣ After viewing/printing the statement, click SUBMIT or CANCEL.

🔟 After submitting your salary loan application, a confirmation message will be displayed. You may copy the transaction number or print the acknowledgment page itself, or refer to the email notification sent to your registered email address.

NOTE: You will be notified through email about your salary loan application’s status. You will also receive a text notification after the salary loan application has been approved.

How To Apply For SSS Educational Assistance Loan

No one can deny that gaining education is the  key to a better future. But with the very high cost of education, not everyone can really afford it.  There are many options that a student can actually finance their education. One can apply for scholarship grants, but we must say that not everyone can qualify for scholarship. Another option that a student have is to become a working student, although this might not always apply because in order to get a good job, a person needed to have degree or certificate for their skill or training. Many are actually looking for educational  loan or student loan. Good thing, there are some government assisted education loans available, just like the Educ Assist Loan offered by Social Security System (SSS). .  Who Can Benefit The Educational Assistance Loan of SSS?  SSS members or his/her beneficiaries can avail EducAssist Loan. The beneficiaries can be the SSS member; the spouse (wife or husband of SSS member); child of SSS member; brother or sister of SSS member.   Beneficiaries are defined as follow: 1. Member-borrower, legal spouse, child of SSS member (including illegitimate) and sibling of unmarried SSS member (including half-brother/sister).  2. Married member-borrowers are allowed to avail up to two (2) beneficiaries who shall be any of the following: member himself/herself, his/her spouse, his/her children (legitimate or illegitimate).  3. No substitution of beneficiary shall be allowed.    Can I Apply For Education Loan If I have Existing Salary Loan or Housing Loan ?  As long as the SSS member is up to date in his/her monthly payment for the loan she can apply for EducAssist.    How Much Can I Loan?   The amount of loan depends if you are taking a degree course or vocational.   AMOUNT OF LOAN   Degree Course - Maximum of Php20,000 per semester/trimester/quarter term or actual tuition/miscellaneous fees, whichever is lower, rounded off to the next higher Php100.   Vocational/Technical Course (minimum of 2 years) – Maximum of Php10,000 per semester/trimester or actual amount of tuition/miscellaneous fees, whichever is lower, rounded off to the next higher Php100.   The loan shall be funded by National Government (NG) and SSS on a 50:50 basis. Any excess on the tuition fee and miscellaneous expenses shall be borne by the member/beneficiary  What is the interest rate for the loan?  There is 0% interest for the amount funded by the government. And 6% annual interest for the amount funded by SSS ARTICLE HERE How Do I Apply For The SSS Education Loan?  The following requirements needed to be accomplished and submitted to SSS  1. SSS ID or two (2) valid IDs.  2. Accomplished application form. Click here to download form 3. Assessment/Billing statement issued by the school of member/beneficiary.  4. Proof of monthly salary/income : pay slip or pay envelope or employer's certification (For Employed).    Member-borrower whose last posted Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) is Php15,000 or below, provided that his/her actual monthly basic salary or income is not more than Php25,000; member-borrower who falls under MSC of Php15,000, must present proof of actual monthly salary/income of not more than Php 25,000.   5. Income Tax Return or affidavit of income (For self-employed/voluntary paying).    How long do I have to repay my education loan in SSS?  Degree Course - The term is up to five (5) years and loan payment shall start after 18 months for semestral courses, 15 months for trimestral courses or 14 months & 15 days for quarter term courses from the scheduled last release date or from the date of last release for those who will not avail of the subsequent releases.     Vocational/Technical Course - The term is up to three (3) years and loan payment shall start after 18 months for semestral courses or 15 months for trimestral courses from the scheduled last release date or from the date of last release for those who will not avail of the subsequent releases. Any unpaid educational assistance loan shall be deducted from the future benefit of the member.       It is important also that the school must be accredited by the Commission on Higher Education for degree courses and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority for vocational/technical courses. There are many options for a student to actually finance their education. One can apply for scholarship grants, but we must say that not everyone can qualify for scholarship. Another option that a  is to become a working student, although this might not always apply because in order to get a good job, a person needed to have degree or certificate for their skill or training. 
Many are actually looking for educational  loan or student loan. Good thing, there are some government assisted education loans available, just like the Educ Assist Loan offered by Social Security System (SSS). . 

Who Can Benefit The Educational Assistance Loan of SSS?

SSS members or his/her beneficiaries can avail EducAssist Loan. The beneficiaries can be the SSS member; the spouse (wife or husband of SSS member); child of SSS member; brother or sister of SSS member. 


Beneficiaries are defined as follow:
  • 1. Member-borrower, legal spouse, child of SSS member (including illegitimate) and sibling of unmarried SSS member (including half-brother/sister). 
  • 2. Married member-borrowers are allowed to avail up to two (2) beneficiaries who shall be any of the following: member himself/herself, his/her spouse, his/her children (legitimate or illegitimate). 
  • 3. No substitution of beneficiary shall be allowed. 


Can I Apply For Education Loan If I have Existing Salary Loan or Housing Loan ?

As long as the SSS member is up to date in his/her monthly payment for the loan she can apply for EducAssist. 


How Much Can I Loan? 

The amount of loan depends if you are taking a degree course or vocational. 


AMOUNT OF LOAN 

Degree Course - Maximum of Php20,000 per semester/trimester/quarter term or actual tuition/miscellaneous fees, whichever is lower, rounded off to the next higher Php100. 

Vocational/Technical Course (minimum of 2 years) – Maximum of Php10,000 per semester/trimester or actual amount of tuition/miscellaneous fees, whichever is lower, rounded off to the next higher Php100. 

The loan shall be funded by National Government (NG) and SSS on a 50:50 basis. Any excess on the tuition fee and miscellaneous expenses shall be borne by the member/beneficiary

What is the interest rate for the loan?

There is 0% interest for the amount funded by the government. And 6% annual interest for the amount funded by SSS

How Do I Apply For The SSS Education Loan?

The following requirements needed to be accomplished and submitted to SSS:

1. SSS ID or two (2) valid IDs 
2. Accomplished application form. Click here to download form 
3. Assessment/Billing statement issued by the school of member/beneficiary.  
4. Proof of monthly salary/income : pay slip or pay envelope or employer's certification (For Employed). 

Member-borrower whose last posted Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) is Php15,000 or below, provided that his/her actual monthly basic salary or income is not more than Php25,000; member-borrower who falls under MSC of Php15,000, must present proof of actual monthly salary/income of not more than Php 25,000.

5. Income Tax Return or affidavit of income (For self-employed/voluntary paying). 


How long do I have to repay my education loan in SSS?

Degree Course - The term is up to five (5) years and loan payment shall start after 18 months for semestral courses, 15 months for trimestral courses or 14 months & 15 days for quarter term courses from the scheduled last release date or from the date of last release for those who will not avail of the subsequent releases.



Vocational/Technical Course - The term is up to three (3) years and loan payment shall start after 18 months for semestral courses or 15 months for trimestral courses from the scheduled last release date or from the date of last release for those who will not avail of the subsequent releases. Any unpaid educational assistance loan shall be deducted from the future benefit of the member.
