Working Outside Under Extreme Heat Is Prohibited In KSA

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development in Saudi Arabia implements an occupational safety and health (OSH) management system since July 1, 2018, in order to develop national regulations and motivate employers to create attractive, safe and healthy work environments.   The ministry had also “launch inspection rounds to make sure employers comply with the guidelines.”   Spokesman Khaled Abalkhail said that those who will violate the regulation will be fined according to the magnitude of the offense.  The people are urged to report any violation to the ministry on its customer service number (19911).
