During summer, workers are restricted to work under the scorching heat of the Middle Eastern sun which elevates up to more than fifty degrees Celsius. It could cook an egg if you place it directly on the asphalt during midday. Just imagine how this extreme temperature does to a person who is just standing by outside, more so if you are doing hard labor under extreme heat.

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh had released an advisory stating that workers should not be allowed to work under direct extreme heat during the period from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm during summer which usually falls from June15 to September 15 every year.
The ministry had also “launch inspection rounds to make sure employers comply with the guidelines.”
Spokesman Khaled Abalkhail said that those who will violate the regulation will be fined according to the magnitude of the offense.
The people are urged to report any violation to the ministry on its customer service number (19911).
