In case that an OFW or expatriate working in UAE met an untoward incident that causes them to lose their life while performing their duties, the UAE labor law stated that the bereaved family of the deceased will receive compensation from employer. For natural death occurred outside work duty, the employer has the responsibility to pay the family members of the deceased or the dependents, the amount equivalent to the worker's 24 months basic wage. On the other hand, if death occurred while the expat is performing his duty or if the expat contracted a disease while working [i.e. a lung cancer from inhaling harmful toxins while working in a chemical factory], their dependents or the immediate family members are entitled for the amount equivalent to the workers 24 months basic wages not lower than AED 18,000 but must not exceed AED 35,000. it must be based on the salary of the worker prior to their death. The expression “Deceased worker's Family” stated on the article's provision is defined as: -Children. -Widow/widower. -Dependents who were subsistent on the deceased worker's income. -Sons who were under the age of 18 and who were enrolled in educational institutions regularly and are under the age of 24 years and who were mentally or Physically disabled to earn for a living and who were in the deceased workers care at the time of his death. -Unmarried daughters who were in the deceased workers care at the time of his death. -The parents. -Brothers and sisters who were in the deceased workers care at the time of his death. The mother of an OFW who accidentally killed her employer that attempted to rape her is asking for prayers as the UAE Court of First Instance in Abu Dhabi is about to release the verdict regarding her daughter's case on March 27.

Rajima Dalquez also launched "Piso para kay Jennefer" as she is still hoping that the employer's two children will accept the offer of blood money for the release of her beloved OFW daughter, Jennefer. Rajima will be flying for UAE on March 25 for the last hearing of Jennefer's case on the 27th . Jennefer's verdict, that was supposed to be released last February 27 was postponed due to the court decision to summon the 2 children of the Emirati employer to attend the hearing on March 27 where they will be asked for fifty times in the name of Allah if Dalquez is the only person who killed their father. Mrs. Dalquez is optimistic that the court ruling will favor Dalquez's statement that she only defended herself from her Emirati employer who tried to rape her on a knife point. She said she want her daughter to be back home sooner as her two kids are always asking when will their mom finally come back home. Meanwhile, Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Constancio Vigno, clarified that Jennefer Dalquez is NOT in the death row, like what the news in the social media is saying. Meanwhile, Ministry of Labor law in Saudi Arabian Government is giving rewards to anyone who will report Saudization violations,especially in the IT sector.The amount equal to 25% of the actual fine will be rewarded to the informant as announced by Labor and Social Development Minister Mufrej Al-Haqabani.

The ministry will conduct "community inspections" allowing every individual to report Saudization violations.
This is in accordance with the 100% Saudization goal for the IT Sector starting on September.

Haqabani said that young Saudis has proven their ability in the IT sector and that they are the source of pride and their participation in the IT market is fantastic and professional and the young Saudi IT's proved that they are capable of doing such tasks.

Saudization aims to give jobs to locals including Saudi women,improve working environment and reduce unemployment rate in the Kingdom.
