SSS, Magbibigay na ng 13th Month Pension | Schedule ng Releasing Alamin!






MANILA, Philippines — SA mga pensioners ng Social Security System o SSS na matagal nang nagtatanong kung kailan ibibigay ang 13th month pension ngayong Disyembre, may inilabas na na schedule ang SSS kung kailan makukuha ang inyong mga 13th month pay at montly pension para sa buwan ng Disyembre.

Sa infographics na inilabas ng SSS sa kanilang official Facebook Page na Philippine Social Security System o SSS, kinumperma ng ahensiya na simula Disyembre 1, matatanggap na ng mga pensioners ang kanilang December at 13th month pension.

Ayon kay SSS president at chief executive officer Aurora Ignacio pinoproseso na ang paglilipat ng pondo sa Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).

“Ililipat na po namin sa DBP by today or tomorrow ‘yung pondo para maibigay na nila sa mga bangko at maging withdrawable na siya on December 1,”

“So 13th month and December pension will be on December 1 tapos po ‘yung second batch ng pensioners will receive ‘yung kanilang December pension ng December 16.” ang pahayag ni Ignacio.

Una nang tiniyak SSS na makakatanggap ng kanilang pensioners ang 13th month pay sa unang ng Disyembre.

Samantala, may aasahan din na cash gift ang mga pensioners ng Government Service Insurance System o GSIS sa darating na unang linggo din ng Disyembre.

Sabi ni GSIS Executive Vice President Nora Malubay, aabot sa mahigit kalahating milyon ang mga pensiyonado ng ahensiya.

What Sort Of Help Senior Citizens Could Get From The Government?

As humans, everybody ages and become weak. As old age often associated with health issues like slowing metabolism, deteriorating immune system and other illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, arthritis among others, people at their retirement age also known as senior citizens need help especially on their medical needs. Even Filipinos who work overseas (OFW) will also eventually come to their retirement and head home for good.
The Philippine government has provided services for the senior citizens in forms of privileges and cash assistance through SSS, GSIS, Philhealth etc.

It means that those who are 60 years old and above can enjoy privileges and discounts from Philhealth like the regular members enjoy.  Although they can avail these privileges just by showing a government-issued identification card such as SSS, TIN, passport, drivers license etc provided that the name photo and birth date appear in the card, it is also better that the senior citizens should also register at the agency to avail hospitalization benefits and their 20%  discount on medicine.  The premium contributions of the Senior Citizen will be provided by the government from the proceeds of the Sin Tax Law or Republic Act No. 10351. Restructuring Program for GSIS Member with Outstanding Educational Loan

Calling the attention of all members of Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) with an outstanding balance under the Educational Assistance Loan (EAL).  The agency is offering a restructuring program for around half a million members with an outstanding balance.  This is the second phase of the program where a member may renew their educational loan and obtain a P10,000 gross amount from which the outstanding balance of the first loan will be deducted.

The agency is offering a restructuring program for around half a million members with an outstanding balance.

This is the second phase of the program where a member may renew their educational loan and obtain a P10,000 gross amount from which the outstanding balance of the first loan will be deducted.



The Educational Assistance Loan II is open until December 31, 2017, and GSIS has earmarked a total of P6.33 billion for restructuring facility.

Who is allowed to apply for EAL II?

  • Active members may apply if they have existing educational loan
  • Have no pending administrative case or criminal charge
  • Members who are not on leave of absence without pay
  • Have remitted at least three monthly premium contributions within the last six months prior to loan application
  • have a minimum net take-home pay of P4,000.00 after all required monthly obligations have been deducted.




The educational loan this year is payable in 60 equal monthly installments of P216.67 at 6% interest per annum computed in advance.

Where to Apply for a loan?

Qualified members must personally apply for the loan in any GSIS office. The loan proceeds will be credited to the borrower’s GSIS eCard or unified multipurpose identification (UMID) card.
