HOW TO APPLY: DSWD Offers FREE Massage Review Course For PWD

According to DSWD Sec. Judy Taguiwalo, those persons with disabilities can benefit from the FREE Massage Review Course offered by DSWD through National Vocational Rehabilitation Center or NVRC.

The NVRC helps persons with disabilities by training and helping them acquire new skills that could help them become a more productive member of the society.

There are many persons with disabilities in the Philippines who are choosing to learn skills in massage therapy just like Mr. Dante Tioson. He learned his skills through the National Vocational and Rehabilitation Center and through the help of other disabled individuals who have the skills in massage therapy he was able to start a massage center.

HOW TO AVAIL FREE MASSAGE REVIEW COURSE?

Those persons with disabilities could avail FREE massage review course by submitting the following requirements:

1. Original NBI clearance

2. NSO authenticated birth certificate

3. Original ang photocopy of laboratory results which includes the following:

x-ray
urinalysis
blood count
fecalysis

4. School Records

5. Barangay Certificate

6. 6 pcs passport size ID picture

7. Cedula

8. Massage Training Certificate

FREE Online Study Offered By Department Of Agriculture (with Certificate)

As online study becomes popular, the Department of Agriculture (DA) in the Philippines has adapted and made things easier for everyone to learn online through their e-Learning program for agriculture and fisheries. Aside from the knowledge and skills you will acquire DA will also provide certificate to those who successfully finishes the course.

WHERE:

Though the online courses, anyone can study at their convenient time anywhere they are as long as they have internet. All of the courses are offered for free and once completed they also issue certificates.

HOW :

The study is done online therefore interested students must first sign up for an account, and log-in each time they have to access or learn the course/s. The materials are also provided in the website which include instructional videos or tutorials, for students who wants to request for hard copy of technokits they could send a request through e-mail.

For students who don't have computer or internet access the DA also has set-up 16 Training centers across Philippines and e-Extension office equipped with at least 2 computers per office, printer, and broadband internet which could be used by students .
