Former OFW Killed Seven Year-old Son; Placed Inside a Sack

What could a 7 year-old boy could be done that his own mother would kill him?

AJ Mellares,7, was found dead by his grandfather at the back of their house inside a sack in Barangay Mabigo, Canlaon City. The suspect, his mother who is a former OFW who arrived barely just 2 months ago.
According to PO2 Jonalyn Cubero, chief of the Women and Children’s Protection Desk of Canlaon City, said that around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Monreal went to the house of his daughter, Eldrin Ann Mellares, 34, to visit his grandsons. The house is just few blocks away. Upon asking about the whereabouts of his grandsons, the mother told him casually that she killed her son, tied his hands, sacked him and placed at the back of their house, without any signs of panic or remorse.

After learning the incident, the grandfather, retired Senior Police Officer 4 Monreal rushed to the place an found the lifeless body of his grandson inside a sack with bruises all over.
The grandfather immediately called the police and surrendered his daughter, who is now facing parricide charges for killing his own son.
The suspect who has been long separated from her husband worked overseas to support her two kids. She just returned to the country two months ago.
Aprobe about the possibility that the OFW has been abused while she was working abroad was proposed by Canlaon City Councilor Valentin Armonio, according to Cebu Daily News report.

Husband Stabbed His Cheating Wife To Death In Front Of Their Children


 husband is now facing parricide charges after killing his wife infront of their own kids. The suspect was immediately arrested while trying to escape from the crime scene. the reason behind the killing, his wife came home with smell of liquor and hickeys on her neck giving the husband a suspicion that her wife is cheating with him. With great remorse, the husband, Roque Porton, relates what happened that early dawn when his wife, Jhoanna arrived with smell of alcohol. 86-Year-old Mom, Raped, Slaughtered, Intestines Roasted and Consumed By Own Son


An 86 year-old woman was found bathing in her own blood after the suspect, her own son, slaughtered her at their own home in Purok 5, Barangay Boloc-boloc, Sibulan , Negros Oriental.  The victim was identified as Josefina Barera, Manaban, 86, a widow and resides at the said place was found dead in the morning of Aug 28, disemboweled, eyes  removed, and with a large cut in the forehead.  The suspect who was immediately captured by the police authorities is none other than her own son, Roger Barera Manaban, 52, married and has no permanent residence.   "Advertisements" According to PO3 Diaz, police investigator of PNP Sibulan on an interview from DYWC RMN, they found the suspect holding a bladed weapon believed that the suspect use to slaughter the victim. The suspect also cut into pieces, cooked (roasted) and consumed the guts of his own mother. The victim was also found naked and the police said there there is also a possibility that she was raped.  The investigation is ongoing to find out if the suspect is under the influence of illegal drugs when the murder happened. The suspect is out of his sanity and is presently detained at the police station while the authorities and the victims relatives are preparing to press parricide charges against him. Seaman's Wife Killed 3 Own Kids, Bad Spirit Possession?

Burgos, Isabela: Three kids including a 3-month-old baby died of strangulation in the hands of their own mother. GMA News report said that the mother is facing multiple parricide charges for taking the lives of her kids with ages three, two and a 3-month-old baby.   Their relatives found out about the horrific incident when her 7-year old kid got away and sought the help of their grandparents. According to the suspect's brother-in-law, few days before the incident happened, the woman was acting strange  and hurting her kids The woman is believed to be undergoing severe depression. The suspect insisted that there was an evil spirit that had her possessed and caused her to do the violent crime leading to strangling of  her own kids. Burgos, Isabela: Three kids including a 3-month-old baby died of strangulation in the hands of their own mother. GMA News report said that the mother is facing multiple parricide charges for taking the lives of her kids with ages three, two and a 3-month-old baby.


Their relatives found out about the horrific incident when her 7-year old kid got away and sought the help of their grandparents.
According to the suspect's brother-in-law, few days before the incident happened, the woman was acting strange  and hurting her kids
The woman is believed to be undergoing severe depression.
The suspect insisted that there was an evil spirit that had her possessed and caused her to do the violent crime leading to strangling of  her own kids.

Her husband who work overseas as a seaman is scheduled to come home to find out that he tragically lost three of his beloved children in the hands of their own mom.
