You Be the Judge, Watch This Boxing Match Replay And Tell If Pacquiao Was Really Cheated



The Battle of Brisbane ended with a controversial unanimous decision win in favor of the Australian boxer Jeff Horn against the Filipino boxer/Senator Manny Pacquiao. A lot of Filipino and foreign fans as well as various sports analysts was in huge disappointment on the judges decision. Some said : "Pacquiao was robbed..." Stephen A. Smith of the ESPN said that the unanimous decision for Jeff Horns' win was a bogus decision made by the judges.   Boxing legend Teddy Atlas told Jeff Horn on his face that he really thought Horn has lost the fight. He even ask Horn if he think he really won the match.    Another video is making rounds on the social media of Mark Nelson the fight referee telling Horn that "he (the referee) is there to protect him." Is it just us or something is really "cooking" during the fight?     Manny Pacquiao said that he already accepted that the judges decision is final and he can't do anything about it. On an interview with Miss Dianne Castillejo of ANC, he narrated the ordeal he had during his fight with the Australian boxer. He said that as we all see that Horn was throwing punches on him, it was really nothing. All that he was concerned about was the head butts, the elbow and the obvious clipping of Horn's arm over his neck that could have been prevented by the referee from happening.  Manny Pacquiao said he still wants to fight after the lost. He also expressed his gratitude to all of his celebrity and non-celebrity boxing fans who showed all out support in spite of losing the bout. Pacquiao also said that he is open for a possible rematch but it is up to promoter Bob Arum and Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach to decide .

Senator Cynthia Villar Clarifies Unli-Rice Statement


Many Filipinos are "rice person" and this is a reason why there are many restaurants that offering an unlimited rice (unli-rice) serving in their meals.  But Sen. Cynthia Villar wants to implement a ban on the offering of unli-rice serving in the restaurant to help the government in hits effort towards rice self-sufficiency.  In return, Villar as a chairperson of Senate committee on agriculture and food urged the food establishment to encourage people to eat more vegetables instead.

But Sen. Cynthia Villar wants to implement a ban on the offering of unli-rice serving in the restaurant to help the government in hits effort towards rice self-sufficiency.

In return, Villar as a chairperson of Senate committee on agriculture and food urged the food establishment to encourage people to eat more vegetables instead.







But the lady senator clarified that she is not planning to file a bill to ban unli-rice serving in restaurants.


Villar also told the officials to encourage the consumption of brown rice, instead of well-milled rice.

"I am not planning to make a law banning 'unli rice', not at all. I just voiced out my concern that eating too much rice is one of the main causes of high blood sugar that leads to diabetes," 




"But, of course, I cannot prevent people from eating unlimited amount of rice. It is their choice. It was just a genuine expression of concern on my part."

She even posted her explanation on social media saying "Keep calm, there's no ban on unli rice."

Villar made a clarification on her statement regarding banning unli-rice after many netizens criticized her plan.
