Anumang oras maaaring mag-crash ang stock market at posibleng mawala ang pera mo. Kung sarado ang trading wala ka ring access sa pera mo. Hindi madali ang withdrawal dahil may mga stock market na tumatagal ang ng ilang araw bago pumasok sa account mo ang perang winidraw.

3. Life insurance — Importante ang pagkakaroon ng life insurance. Pero hindi advisable na gamitin mo ang emergency fund sa pagkuha ng life insurance. Kahit covered ka ng insurance sakaling ikaw ay magkasakit o maaksidente, hindi lang ito ang mga emergencies na dapat mong paghandaan.

May mga posibilidad na masira ang iyong sasakyan o bagyuhin ang bahay mo na kailangan mong ding ipa-ayos.

4. Paluwagan — Hindi naman masama ang legitimate na paluwagan, pero hindi mo dapat isugal ang emergency fund mo dito. Kahit may tiwala ka sa mga miyembro ng paluwagan, may tsansa pa rin na may mga miyembrong mahihirapan magbayad on time.
Hindi lamang mauuwi sa utang ang emergency fund mo, madadamay pa ang relasyon mo sa iyong mga kaibigan at kamag-anak.

Maliban pa rito, hindi din maganda na ilagay sa mga long-term investment fund ang iyong emergency fund. Dapat nasa isang acount ito na hiwalay sa bank account na madalas mong ginagamit para hindi ka matuksong paki-alaman.
