LAGLAG-BALA O TANIM-BALA IS BACK AT NAIA AIRPORT AND THE LATEST VICTIM is 78 and 74 YEARS OLD COUPLE!




No, its not old news, it is as fresh as the lumpia you are eating. Tatay Esteban and Nanay Salvacion Cortabista, age 78 and 74 years old is the newest victim of TANIM-BALA at the NAIA Airport today April 19, 2016!

The two senior citizen couple and Nanay Salvacion was already at the wheel chair was found having the live bullet at the second X-ray at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport terminal 1 as they pass through the scanners on their way to their flight to Los Angeles, California.

The couple was surprised to learn that a live ammunition was found in their baggage. They denied owning the ammunition.

"Dalawang beses na po kami bumibiyahe sa America at alam na alam po namin na bawal ang mag-dala ng bala. Eh bakit naman po kami magdadala ng bala?"  ''Dumaan po kami sa unang X-ray eh wala naman pong nakita. Eh bakit dito po eh biglang may nakitang bala sa bag ni misis?" "Mga ordinaryo lang po kaming magsasaka sa Boso Boso, Antipolo. Wala naman po kaming pera. Bakit kami naman po ang bibiktimahin ng tanim-bala dito sa airport?" Esteban and Salvacion told ABS-CBN News.

OFW Travelling With Family Falls Victim of Tanim-Bala



Another OFW travelling with her husband and 13-year-old child missed their flight after a bullet was found in a tightly sealed box inside their luggage. A .22 caliber bullet was found at the bottom part of their box. 
Olivia De Guzman and her family were barred from flying to Italy after the bullet was found in their luggage.

Their luggage was tightly covered and sealed, and according to her she personally packed her luggage but she denied putting bullet inside. She also said she does not believe in using bullet as amulet. 

After the investigation, authorities opted not to file charges against her or her husband. And their family is now waiting to catch the next available flight to Italy.

Touching Story. Si Nanay Gloria and her Alaga


This is a summary of what happened to Nanay Gloria in Hongkong, the OFW who had been a victim of tanim-bala at NAIA. How she lost her job because of the incident. 
Upon her return to Hongkong we learned that her employer had terminated her contract. The bitter ending of her story eventually turned into something heart touching. The emotions surrounding everyone as the nanny and child hugged to bid farewell to each other. Read the posts below from the people who personally accompanied Nanay Gloria on her return to Hongkong as they witnessed the events that took place....
Miss Susan Ople narrated to us, during the time when they were about to pick up the stuffs of Nanay Gloria from her employers house, they would not let them in. They would not even let the child that Nanay Gloria cared for the last 15 years (since he was born) see her or say goodbye to her. But the child cried and still insisted that he be given the chance to hug Nanay Gloria for the last time. The child eventually  found way to snuck out  and say his farewell, which was heartbreaking to watch they said.

The following day, Nanay Gloria received a phone call from the employer asking if they could talk. They were worried for their child who didn't get  sleep, and who had been crying throughout the night, the child wouldn't also eat breakfast or dinner. As they spoke, the employer wanted to re-hire Nanay Gloria and settle the things in a much favorable way for their family and for her.

OFW Gloria Ortinez Returns to HongKong and Found Out She Lost Her Job


An OFW, Nanay Gloria Ortinez learns about her job termination upon arrival at the Hong Kong immigration. 


The week started with so much hope after her case has been dismissed by the Department of Justice regarding the bullet that was planted in her belongings at the NAIA. 

But this is just the start of more challenges for her. Upon her return to Hongkong, she learned at the Hongkong Immigration that she can no longer work and that her employer has already terminated her contract.

CASE DISMISSED FOR GLORIA ORTINEZ, BUT CAN SHE STILL RETURN TO HONGKONG?


Good news to Nanay Gloria Ortinez. The DOJ or Dept of Justice dismissed the case against her for the lack of probable cause. It has been said that no further investigation is needed since there is no logical reason why she would possess the ammunition. 
However Nanay Gloria is still worried if her employer would still accept her.
