NEWS:TWO FILIPINOS NABBED IN KUWAIT FOR SELLING PORK MEAT

TWO FILIPINOS NABBED IN KUWAIT FOR SELLING PORK MEAT

Selling and consuming pork meat or any meat products is strictly prohibited in the Arab countries and considered a serious crime.
In the Philippines, before you go to any Arab countries for work,a pre-departure orientation seminar is conducted to warn the OFWs of the do's and dont's with regards to the host country and this includes  not to bring any pork meat or meat products.
In Kuwait,a Filipino couple was arrested for possession and selling pork meat.

In a Facebook post from Ayman Mat,the Filipino couple was arrested by the Ahmadi security men with 30 kilos of pork meat in possession. It is also mentioned that they are selling the said items for KWD9 per kilo.
They were referred to the authorities for further investigation.

However,an unconfirmed claim from the comments said that the two arrested Filipinos are not a couple. The man is the lady's flat holder who doesn't even know that his tenant is selling these items, but the facts are yet to be verified.
