Before an Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) can fly to work abroad, one of his or her requirements is to undergo the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS).
Through PDOS OFWs are being prepared for their life and work abroad. With this seminar, they are given information to prepare themselves for new challenges they'll be facing in other countries.

Reminders to OFWs, attending PDOS is free. Although small amounts are authorized by the program, it should be paid by the agency or recruitment agencies and not by the OFWs.
