This is the story of 63-years old and former Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), Perseus Parde who is graduating this April at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines with Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
The former OFW in Saudi Arabia said, having a college diploma like his children is one of his greatest dreams.

"Pinursige ko rin na dito na lang, i-concentrate ko 'yung pag-aaral, makatapos din ako para at least sila'y mga titulado, titulado rin ang papa nila,"
It was 2013 when Parde enrolled himself in the said school after how many years of working in Saudi Arabia to send his four children to school until they graduated in college.
Tatay Perseus said, it is hard to go to school at old age but nothing beats the sacrifice and hard work until the day of his graduation.
"Talagang hirap din po pero sa tiyaga, ito po nangyari... ga-graduate na po saka masaya rin po,"
Parde also gave advice to people who still wants to pursue studies despite old age.
"Tutok lang nila sa pag-aaral, makakatapos din sila..."
