First - The most advanced custom inspection system in the world - The Smart Table.
A table that 'sees through' luggage
It allows customs officers at the airport to pinpoint suspicious areas of luggage, rather than have a traveler open his or her entire suitcase.

What does the Smart Table Do?

  • Check your bags for three-minutes maximum time
  • Identify suspected items inside your luggage without manually opening it.
There's a built-in screen on each side of the smart inspection system, which helps passengers view their rights and duties and see how the inspection procedure works.

Another feature of the smart system includes its capability to register the passenger’s document in less than five seconds through a scanner fitted in the device.

The smart table aims to increase efficiency, cut down on manual inspection time and swiftly bust illegal items.

Al Kashif, which is the first of its kind around the world, contains a security camera, monitor, wireless devices, fire extinguisher, iPad, a document verification device, Ion scan, helmet, and a cage for a Customs dog. It may be used as a mobile power generator for seven hours. It may also be used for external inspection by simply adding a solar panel, making it 100 per cent eco-friendly.

Third - The CCTV Cameras - Considered to be Dubai's Custom third eye in the airport.

Dubai International Airport has a comprehensive network of closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV). It also uses biometric scanners to verify the identity of visa holders.
