This includes language training and training on practical housekeeping chores like on how to operate Japanese appliances.

Rono said, for housekeepers to be successful in their job in Japan, it is important that they must be able to understand the culture and language are also very important.

According to PASONA Group Inc. Japanese partner of Magsaysay that there are many job opportunities in Japan right now because of its aging population.

Many employees are needed in hotels, restaurants, and other establishments.

PASONA said Japanese housekeeping jobs are different compared to those domestic helper jobs in Hong Kong and Singapore.

It is because, housekeepers in Japan will not be stay-in rather they will stay in one apartment, share same room and toilet with other workers.

Housekeepers have to work eight hours a day, and every day, they will have different employers. They are also entitled to have a day off and vacation leave.

PASONA added that they are now hiring for the second batch and 1,000 housekeepers are needed for the next three years.

The first batch of Filipino housekeepers is leaving this month.

For those who are interested, you may check additional information in this website, www.magsaysaycareers.com.

PASONA reminded that there is no placement fee for the job and the training and language classes are free.
