VIDEO:HEAVY RAINS TURNED RIYADH DESERT TO A "SEA"

  Heavy rains hit Saudi Arabia leaving some parts of the kingdom flooded.     The heavy rains accompanied by hailstorm hit  some parts of Saudi Arabia. Earlier last week, the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection  has   issued an alert about heavy rainfall and thunder. The Civil Defense Directorate  also advised the people, citizen and expats, to take caution due to the coming rainfall.    In this video posted by Ayman Mat Facebook page, an arab man is struggling to enter his car  engulfed by flood.     At least 18 people died and several got injured due to flood in different parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Aaj News reported.  According to sources, heavy rain and flood hit different cities along with capital of Kingdom which resulted in loss of 18 precious lives. The flood has affected daily life and it damaged several homes as well. Sources further reported that the concerned authorities has instructed students to stay at homes due to state of emergency in the country.        The desert, north of the Saudi capital, Riyadh, seem to turn into a small sea. The stunning site has been captured on a viral YouTube video aerial shot.  The video was produced by Mohammad Al-Taweel, you can clearly see the flood waters stretching out for miles. The sight is resembling the view of King Fahad bridge that runs through the Arabian Gulf.
