UNLI-INTERNET AND SELLING OF UNLIMITED NET SIMCARD TO BE STOPPED IN SAUDI ARABIA

UNLI-INTERNET CARDS NO MORE IN SAUDI ARABIA

STC, Mobily and Zain Mobile Networks already dropped unlimited internet plans on new sim cards.

Unlimited internet is OFWs' best friend, not only in Saudi Arabia but all over the world. With the use of the internet, distance seems so close for OFWs and their families back home in the Philippines.

While many OFWs currently enjoying the unlimited internet access wherever they are in the world, here's a bad news for Pinoy workers in Saudi Arabia about their unlimited internet connection.

Starting next week, the sale of unlimited internet cards will be stopped.

According to Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC), the decision will cover all service operators but will be limited to pre-paid cards.

It will not include billed or post-paid mobile packages nor DSL services.

There are three unlimited internet providers in Saudi Arabia, STC, Mobily, and Zain.

The objective of the decision is to allocate equally the use of the network and reducing pressure on them to enhance their services for customers.

Accordingly, the operation signals in Saudi Arabia has indicated an increase in network usage exceeding global averages.
