Hevyn Turns Two!

To be married is fulfilling, and yet challenging, but to be a father means more. It means tremendous personal sacrifice, your time, your mind, your heart and most of the time, your might and strength. It's been exactly two years now, today since I become a father of a beautiful, lovely and amazingly intelligent girl we named Hevyn.

We are grateful that our decision for her mom to stay home and invest in her education is paying off. At the age of one year and a half till now, these are some of the things she can do, way ahead of her age.

• She can memorize ABC's even complete the ABC song. Point to and ask her any letters along the way and she can perfectly say it right, including N-O P-A-R-K-I-N-G. hehe
• She can identify almost all the basic colors, and the same, point to any colors you'll see and she can quickly and rightly answer.
• She can sing a dozen or more rhymes and songs, with accompanied dancing, er, I mean swirling. hehe
• She can also count 1 to 12, and can count using her fingers.
• She can also identify and say basic shapes like square, triangle, circle, etc.
• She can draw, I mean scribble and some not yet named or discovered shapes. haha
• She can dance and imitates ballet, and swing.
• She likes to read books. Every time we read the scriptures at night, she will insist that she'll be the one to read, and me and Mrs. Thoughtskoto will simply look at each other while she is mumbling words that no one quite understood and cannot be even translated by the best translator in the whole world!
• She wanted to wear dress all the time!
• She wears her mom's shoes, and walk around the house.
• She can answer with a distinct and fluent "NO", and "YEA" when you ask her questions that prompts with the yes or no answer.
• Everytime she sees the butterfly logo of PEBA, she will point to it ans shout, "I Love PEBA!" and that's so cool. :)
• She prays and will utter words that only an angel like her can quite comprehend, but I know she is sincere in her prayers even though at times, before she ends up with "Amen", she is already eating, and upon realization that we are still bowing and closed eyes, will excitedly shout, "Amen!"
• She likes pink and blue and purple.
• She called me, Honey, Beavor, Kuya Kenji, Kenji, and Daddy!
• She called her Mom, Shiela, Mommy, Ate Shiela, and Honey also.Cute!
• She believes that YOUTube and Starfall are her school and can click mouse and play videos she liked over Youtube (Kids corner and filtered videos)
• She can on and off the PC and Laptop. Sometimes, if you won't sleep or play with her, she will push the button for shutdown. What else can you do?
• She can insert the USB Flash in PC or Laptop's flash slot.
